Collection notes: NOTEBY J.Longino: Roadside at edge of wet forest. Large Ficus werckleana. Huge colony with carton galleries on most branches. A small section of carton I could reach covered the usual collembolans and scale insects in small knots and cracks. I checked around the trunk for galleries that went to the ground. I found an old abandoned section of gallery that went to the ground, but no new or active galleries. The base of the tree was broad, and with two main trunks, so a current ground connection could have been in the center, down through dead regions.
