Collection notes: NOTEBY J.Longino: Tall wet forest. Colony in Ocotea nicaraguensis. This tree is very common along the Quebrada Bonita. They all contained ants in live stems. Small trees in shade had Myrmelachista, larger trees in sun had Azteca. One large tree had Pseudomyrmex viduus colony throughout.
