Collection notes: NOTEBY LLAMA, NOTEDATE 8-May-11: Sample taken as part of a series of maxiWinkler samples forming an elevational transect along Cerro Saslaya from 300-1500m. 2nd growth forest with lots of medium sized trees. Cecropia, Bursera, Ceiba and Ochroma in overstory, vines in understory. Near primary forest. Possibly the result of fire distrubance. Parapondera clavata seen foraging on a large tree. 4.5 mesh bags, 2.5-day extraction.
